The Foreign Investment (Amendment) Regulations 2016 updated the 2006 Regulations to improve procedures for registering and monitoring foreign investments in the Solomon Islands. They revised the prescribed forms for applications, reviews, notifications, and certificates; replaced the investment activity schedules with clearer ISIC-based classifications; and strengthened reporting requirements such as the annual survey of business operations.
The amendment also introduced an updated fee schedule, setting charges for registration, change notifications, reviews, certifications, and copies of register documents.
